I believe every family deserves to enter birth feeling informed, confident, and supported. My private childbirth education classes are personalized to meet your unique needs and are grounded in the latest evidence-based information.
As a mother, licensed midwife, and educator, I bring a unique perspective to every class. I combine my personal experience with years of caring for families throughout pregnancy, birth, and postpartum to provide practical, compassionate education that prepares you for the journey ahead.
Together with your chosen support person, we'll cover everything you need to feel prepared for labor, birth, and the early postpartum period. We'll discuss the stages of labor, comfort measures, pain management options, partner support, informed decision-making, newborn care, breastfeeding basics, postpartum recovery, and when to seek additional care.
Whether you're planning a birth center, home, or hospital birth, my goal is to help you understand your options, build confidence in your body's ability to give birth, and feel empowered to make the decisions that are right for you and your family.
I would be honored to be part of your birth journey. Please call or email me to learn more or schedule your private childbirth education class. 206-705-3603; globalmidwifery1@gmail.com
Newborn Hearing Screen
Global Midwifery Services has partnered with Department of Health in providing newborn hearing screen. It is important to make sure baby is hearing well. If baby does not pass there are resources that can help early on. The test takes about 15 minutes and it is usually done while baby is asleep.
